2023-2024 Program Year

8/1/2023 12:03 am

Come on down! Throughout the 2024-24 program year, ARMA Nebraska will be Gamifying Information Governance and Records Management.  We have a great lineup of speakers and topics. But along the way, we will have records management themed games. Our first meeting in September will feature the Newly coworker game, we will see how well coworkers know each other.

EZPass registration is now available through September 12th. EZPass allows you to attend all monthly meetings and the all-day Spring Seminar. Why submit monthly expense reports when you can submit just one? This has been a very popular option with our members, so get your pass now before they’re gone. Details can be found on the EZPass registration page.

Registration is now open for our first meeting of the program year on September 13th.  Tom Lynch will present on Managing Boys Town Records and Archives and will be followed by an optional tour of their hall of history. You won’t want to miss it.

All sessions are available in person or online, I am looking forward to seeing you.

Charity

8/1/2023 12:00 am

The ARMA Nebraska charity for the current program year is Bridges to Hope. Their mission is to act as a bridge to serve and encourage men and women transitioning back into the community after incarceration, helping them become successful contributors to society. They provide the guidance the formerly incarcerated need in the form of a new life. They provide tangible items, referrals, and other needed resources that expand community support and encouragement. They also work closely with many other organizations that provide mentoring, job training, leadership skill training, and other key elements of rehabilitation.

Bridges to Hope has provided this list of items of which they are currently in need. Please consider bringing items from the list to each monthly meeting.
